Many bloggers, micro-bloggers and social media account owners are amassing a movement to boycott the state of Utah, the Morman church and Marriott Hotels due to their organizing and financial support for Prop 8.
Similar campaigns were mobilized against South Dakota during the 2006 election over Initiative 6. Social media was still young then and the initive didn’t pass so nothing too damaging came of it. This time the masses are mobilized, the countless Web 2.0 platforms are easy to use and nation’s citizens are energized.
